Theme- Connectedness

You know, everything happens for a reason, nothing in this word exists without connecting links,

To the past, to people, to karma, to a situation, to a thought, whatever happens is connected, I am sure I am not jinxed.

I have faith and I have belief that connections work magically, behind the scenes,

Everything means something, and and everyone is connected, I believe it, even if sometimes, to show you the links I don’t have the means.

Everyone and everything are a part of something larger than themselves, however you judge my faith, I don’t care,

But it gives me some sense of responsibility, and it makes me faithful, and it creates my values, to act against them, I don’t dare.

Caring, considerate, seeking, accepting, integrating, spiritual, comforting, sometimes mystical, and philosophical,

You think I am off the tangent, but I am perceptive because of my very faith, and I will counsel, listen deeply, situation yours is, however dismal.

I am a bridging link between people, from wherever they come, and I know there is a purpose in us getting together,

In the face of life’s miseries and illogical nature, my faith sustains me, and if you just believe me, our links and higher purposes, I will discover, decipher.

On the shoulders of our previous generations and geniuses, grand, sitting,

We see the world in its continuity, because of the way things have happened, and are happening somewhere far away, in a place or in the past, I am speaking the truth, definitely not twitting.

Isn’t it comforting to know you are not alone, that your past, present and future, and all the people in the whirlwind of time, are deeply connected,

And it’s not only your karma, but others’ too, on which your life’s structure is erected.

So let me guide you, and let me instill some hope, when about the world very little you can predict,

I can integrate parts into a whole, connect the dots, and want us all to be a part of a larger whole, so come, that vision, let me depict.

I have faith in human unity, and I am bound to a borderless, timeless family, of humans, and other kinds,

How beautiful this is, this truth of mine, this mystery of life and creation, and how lucky is the one who, his faith, finds.

I love circles of life and threads of continuity, as you know by now,

And I hate the us versus them, the fights that happen between two inevitable brothers,

Can’t they see, that both of them are made of a body, mind and spirit, that comes from the same creator, a larger cosmos to which their existence tethers.

I know you call me too idealistic, wishy-washy, new ager, out of touch with reality, some unclear yogi, or a better phrase, a philosophical junkie,

And that I am passive, naïve and create links when they don’t exist; I am just someone who accepts mystery, it’s not common, I get it, it’s not funky.

So ask me about my purpose in life, and ask me who walks with me on this path of faith,

And who are my partners, at work or otherwise, and what do they help me with, believe me my work or projects are never wraith.

You will find me being an environmentalist, or a humanitarian, an advocate for social equality,

For I know every being relies on the other, I know it, even if I can’t get into the knowledge’s nitty gritty.

So help me communicate, help me explain to people, how are connected the dots,

And how it is always helpful to think of yourself as someone larger than your sole, everyday existence, for often times, I know the story, but not the minor subplots.

You know that I care about larger issues concerning humanity, the world, the global, maybe even the solar system, the universe,

And if you just make an effort to understand me, my thought process, I will open up more, find more clarity, however terse.

Lighten up my spirituality, for I am a person of faith, sincere,

Help me leverage this ability to connect, to guide, to find links of reliance between people, and in moments of distress, lift them up from their fear.

I am the unifier, I will make your team bond stronger,

So why don’t you get me into projects, causes, opportunities, where I unite, douse anger.

Roles that ask for counsel, guidance, my special listening capabilities,

Our actions and words impact others more than we know, to make you understand that, there lie my faculties.

I want some time to decipher the links between people, so I better help a group,

And I also need desperately to join some group, or a charity, where, the larger purpose is always in the loop.

I can build your company’s culture, by linking people with the bigger whole, your vision and mission,

Doesn’t everyone feel important, when they feel their efforts are contributing to a giant corporation?

In the tragedies of life, in death, sickness, unfairness and injustice,

Come to me, I will help you see a bit clearer, that there is a hope in every situation, I will help you notice.

As I said, I need to communicate my message better, to make it’s value effective,

If you can help me find the right words for my faith, my belief, may you long live!

Not all see the pattern I see, and not all share my intuition,

So, I will rather move on, in persuading a disgruntled, irrational crowd, I don’t see any fun.
